Teaching Kids about Healthy Living and Nutrition?

Posted by admin on July 29th, 2010 and filed under healthy living | 1 Comment »

I’m doing a huge project at school in order to graduate and I chose to go to the local library or boys and girls club and teach young kids (under the age of ten) about keeping healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and exercise.
I need some help figuring out topics to include in my lesson plan, and ways of teaching them so that they don’t get bored soon. I want to keep the info light, but good enough that they see it’s importance and it would make an impact.

Any ideas would be appreciated!!!
Thanks.

Do a pyramid Game with them.

Or teach them a rhyme.

Sugary sweets sure taste good but use it sparling.
Fruits and veggies are delicious and should be eating 3 times day and etc…
