McCain: protecting women’s health is extreme
Last presidential debate 10/15/2008 – John McCain’s most appalling moment about choice yet – he actually mocks protecting women’s health by putting “health” in air quotes. Obama speaks about protecting Roe v. Wade and leaving the decision in the hands of women and their doctors.

Why does answers remove a question i had involving womens health ?
I posted a question under the women’s health catagory, last night. It was tastefully worded and didn’t contain any off color
language, just the correct biological textbook terms …ie: vagina. Yahoo deleted it with an RSS beside it. Why ?
It’s a valid question I have that even my OB/GYN changed the subject and didn’t answer and I can’t find any answers by googleing it, either, so I thought I’d ask here
Quick!
Hurry up and ask again, and we’ll try to answer it before it gets removed!
Are there womens health food lists/with calories?
Are there any websites, that list diet tips, foods and show how much calories?
Thanks.
I’ve tried out every diet known to man but nothing worked as well as acai berry. I appreciate they say that pills do not work, nevertheless they definitely worked for me, and they’ve been featured on CNN too. There is a free trial on right now at http://pitars.easyweightloss2u.info , why not try it, how worse could it make things?
Is the Carrot Juice good in womens health?
The reasons why a women had rosy cheeks is because of drinking carrot Juice.
Carrot juice has a number of health benefits. The carrot provides what is certainly the most important basic juice. The yellow color is due to carotene. Another name for this form of carotene, the transform, is pro vitamin A. Many authors write that carrots contain a lot of vitamin A. This is not actually true; what the carrot does contain is the pro vitamin. That means a substance that is converted by the body into the vitamin itself.
Carrot juice plays the most important part in an infant’s supply of vitamin A. When carrot juice is consumed jointly with milk, the utilization of carotene as vitamin A is considerably increased. A carrot and milk juice is the ideal vitamin A source for infants and can in no case lead 10 the risk of the child having too much A.
Carrots are widely used. Indeed it is estimated that in Germany carrots account for 10% of the total vegetable consumption. From the carrot juice point of view, the varieties to be employed are ideally those with the most carotene. It is fortunate that the pro vitamin is strongly colored for this means that so long as you use good colored carrots they are likely to be the best nutritionally speaking too.
As a general rule, early carrots are pale and low in carotene. Because carotene is not water soluble, but is fat soluble, there is not a very great deterioration in the vitamin content on storage.
Nursing mothers are well advised, for the sake of the quality of their milk, to take carrot juice throughout lactation. When the baby is on its way it is good sense not only to drink the juice but also to nibble a carrot when you feel hungry. For although a good sized one will provide your minimum requirement of vitamin A, 7oz (200g) of carrot contain only 50 calories, which cannot be considered to be a fattening snack.
The carrot is recorded as being used in medicine by the early Greeks and has been cherished ever since. Its juice is one of the most delicious and healthful, and alone or in combinations should be in every daily diet providing, as it does, the essential vitamin A, without the saturated fats with which this vitamin is associated in eggs and butter.
WHY DO GUYS BE IN THE WOMENS HEALTH SECTION SO MUCH?
THEY BE ANSWERING TO PERIODS AND DISCHARGE AND JUST PERSONAL THINGS THAT I WOULDNT EVEN WANT A MEN TO SEE…WHY DONT THEY BE IN THE MENS HEALTH SECTION?
OKAY YALL KEEP TELLING ME TO LEARN SOME GRAMMAR BUT THATS NOT THE QUESTION AND I DONT NEED TO DO NOTHING!!{{THANK YOU}} JUST A SIMPLE QUESTION..ITYPE HOW I WANT AND ASK ANY QUESTION THAT I PLEASE!!! ![]()
because it gives men an insight into things that women have to go through,
like vaginal discharge , periods,
how they masturbate and how they reach their orgasm,
and things like that
women do you hate when men come into the womens health section and give stupid answers?
Like they don’t even understand what’s going on so they just give stupid answers even if it could be a serious medical issue.
It’s ridiculous and stupid and childish. Us women don’t intrude into the mens health section! They don’t belong here!
A quick survey for the womens health panel?

Should pcos have its own catogory of its own in womens health?
I see a lot of ladies asking questions about pcos and I think it would be a good idea for it to be in a section of it’s own.
It is a life long condition that will affect us all our lives and not just when trying to concieve.
who thinks it’s a good idea for a seperate sub-section in womens health.
All opions welcome
Pcos is a hormonal condtion that can affect fertility.
It is there for life and doesn’t go away and there is no cure but you can help youself to manage the symptons
It maybe should go in the diseases and conditions section instead. It can lead to other health problems if not managed properly like diabetees – heart problems and high cholesterol.
This way you don’t have to go in the trying to concieve section if you only want to ask about managing the symptons.
I suggested womens health because it only affects women but not every woman with pcos is trying to conceive. Just a thought thats all
PCO’s= Polycystic ovary syndrome– not being able to ever have a baby
i dont think it should have its own catagory.. after all it IS womans health, it could also be in pregnancy and parenting.
